Reaper Trap Bar
Whereas standard barbell deadlifts situate the weight on the hips, trap bars equally redistribute it around the body. Dual handles (standard and raised) lend the bar further versatility and the slightly-raised diamond knurling gives you a better grip without damaging your hands or gloves. The grips are 25mm in diameter, not too big or too small, and the bar itself is coated in chrome. At 81 lbs., the Reaper is our heaviest bar and our heaviest duty bar with a capacity well over 1000 lbs.
For all its grim gravity, the Reaper is, in fact, ideal for beginners or rehabbing athletes who want to improve their range of motion without over-stressing their lower backs. For more advanced lifters, the Reaper is the ideal bar for shrugs, neutral grip bench presses, and farmer's carries. It's the bar that does it all.
